My name is Vanessa or "Ness" to almost everyone in my life! I'd like to welcome you to my page, and tell you a little bit about me and what I do.

I'm an Emerald local, and American expat, mum of 2 wild boys, and 3 (yes, THREE!) Burmese cat boys!

I'm currently a freelance contractor running social media for a range of clients, from horses to shopping centres! 

I run our Physiotherapy practices with my husband Ben, and our amazing teams of therapists and admin superstars. We've grown and developed Hills Physiotherapy from 3 therapists in one little cottage in 2012 to 4 locations with over 20 contracted therapists and 10 employed admin staff. After 10 years of hard work we've reached a point in the businesses where I'm able to focus on my passion, which is social media marketing. 

I hold a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, specifically Makeup and Wig Design from the University of Cincinnati. I also hold a Practice Management Diploma. Believe it or not, this degree has paved the way to where I am now, planning and coordinating online and actual events and the artistic concept and branding of your social media. As a result of the Practice Management Diploma and all that time learning all things medical and Allied Health I'm in a very unique position to provide accurate, relevant expertise for medical clinics and allied health clinics, which often struggle with how to handle their social media.
